Mark your calendars for the Annual Boardwalk 5K. It will be at Husky Stadium on Sunday March 20, 2011. Maple students have had a BLAST during this event every year.

Elementary Counselor Positions May be Cut... WE CAN'T LOSE MS. ESCOBAR!!!!

Open House Tomorrow at Maple... and Chihuly and Lawrence!!!
That's right!! Open House is tomorrow night, February 16, from 6:30 to 7:30, Come and see what your child has been learning in school!

Just a reminder that we are currently hosting “The Northwest Art Collection” exhibit in the art room. It’s a traveling collection on loan to us from the Junior League of Seattle's Northwest Art Program for the Seattle Public Schools.
You’re welcome to come over and take a look. We have works by Dale Chihuly, Jacob Lawrence, Mark Toby and several other NW artists.

WHAT: OPEN HOUSE FOR ALL GRADES
WHEN: Wednesday, February 16, 2011 from 6:30 – 7:30pm
WHERE: Your child’s classroom
WHO: ALL current and incoming Maple students and their parents/guardians
WHY: We would like to give students an opportunity to showcase their learning. We also welcome incoming kindergarten students and their parents to learn more about Kindergarten at Maple. An agenda for the event will be in your child’s classroom.
