Powerful Schools Extended Learning Classes Returns!

Powerful Schools classes are back and starting up soon! This session is offering Chess Club both beginning and intermediate, Fired Art, Theatre, Game On, and Homework Center.  Registration forms are due Friday September 28th and classes start Tuesday October 2nd.  It is recommended you sign up soon as classes can fill quickly!

Powerful Schools and the PTSA want to make sure that any Maple student who wants to take classes can, so scholarships are available. If you can’t afford to pay the tuition or if you’re not sure your family would quality for a full scholarship, then please contact Debbie at Powerful Schools (dmcgibbon@powerfulschools.org or 722-5543 x106) to discuss scholarship opportunities.

Curriculum Night Wednesday, September 19, 2012

I hope everyone is having a smooth start to the school year.  Curriculum Night is coming up this Wednesday evening.  This is an opportunity for parents to meet with teachers and hear about what students are learning in class.  In addition there is a brief PTSA meeting in the library. 

6:30pm-7:00pm Meet with Primary Teachers - Grades K, 1, & 2 (Pods A, B, & C)

7:00pm-7:15pm PTSA Meeting in LRC

7:15pm-7:45pm Meet with Intermediate Teachers - Grades 3, 4, & 5 (Pods D, E, & F)
