The Seattle School District set new volunteer requirements. All volunteers in the district are now required to do the following:
1. Read the online Volunteer Handbook and sign the Volunteer Agreement (p.18-19)
2. Complete an online training and print a certificate of completion
Unfortunately, this is a new district policy effective immediately that must be observed.

After you read it, please print and sign the Volunteer Agreement (p.18-19) and send it to school with your child. The school can provide a hard copy of these pages in case you don’t have access to a printer.

Click on the green arrow to begin. You will have to print out the certificate at the end of the training and send that to school with your student as well. Both forms (the Volunteer Agreement and the certificate) MUST be on file with the school before you can go on another field trip.
