Because of your generosity during the Maple Walk-a-thon, we raised $14,000 for vital education resources and experiences for our children and school!
Because of your generosity during the Maple Walk-a-thon, we raised $14,000 for vital education resources and experiences for our children and school!
This also means that together we've raised over $27,000 for Maple this year. This is an amazing 23% increase from 2016! What an awesome finish to our year - and we couldn't have done it without you.
On behalf of our PTSA, thank you all for your donations of time, of financial support, and helping our children every day to be a success and make our school stronger.

YOU make Maple happen!
The Maple Elementary Walk-A-Thon is fast approaching - Friday, June 2nd!
This is our school's main way of raising the vital funds for our school's Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA), which supports and enriches our children's education every day at Maple.
What does the money raised go to support? Here are just a few of the amazing things your support makes happen:
- Camp Seymour camping trip for all 4th and 5th graders
- Support for vital after-school enrichment classes including Chess Club, Kids Carpentry, and SANCA
- Funding for all K-5 field trips
- $200 school supply fund for every Maple teacher
- A new, larger kiln to increase ceramic art opportunities for all students
- Support of vital library resources
- Support for family events such as the Multi-cultural night, Latino night and Filipino night
- Funding for the Maple Newsletter
Your student brought home a pledge envelope with instructions earlier this month - please help your child reach out to friends, family, and neighbors between now and the Walk-A-Thon to raise money for this important cause and reach our goal of $15,000! Please have your student return their envelopes with pledges next Thursday, June 1st, or during the Walk-A-Thon on Friday, June 2nd.
