The Washington Achievement Award is based on statewide assessment data for the three previous years. The hard-earned award acknowledge progress in the areas of English language arts (ELA), math, closing the achievement gap between subgroup of students, and overall academic success.

All schools will receive their awards in person at an OSPI ceremony on May 3, 2017 in Auburn. Read more about the Achievement Awards on the OSPI website. Schools will be formally honored by the Seattle Public Schools School Board and Superintendent Nyland an upcoming school board meeting.
